The breeder and judge couple Miriam and Steven Lisker from the USA
visited us. We spent a nice day with them and got valuable
information especially about the pedigrees of the Akitas in the
USA and about their health backgrounds. We also got some new
guidelines as to what kind of pedigrees might work well with our
current bloodlines. A big thank you to Mervi Vesala for being an
interpreter and to Tuula Hautala for driving Miriam and Steven to
us.

Critique: "This group has a very nice typey dogs, but they don't look
related. They are all nice, but they all have a different
look."
To the breeder class I chose the dogs which were the most
successful, the class winners. They were all from different
parents and for that reason look different and were also of
different colour. We still got the Honour Prize even though the
group wasn't in any way cohesive..

8th 2006 Puppy check for the Cockerspaniel O litter
|

Veterinarian
Helena Koskentalo checked the puppies in the O litter. They
were healthy with normal skin, coat, ears, eyes, legs and
movements. Their behaving at the check was also normal. They
had typical bites for the breed and no structural problems
that could be seen. Two of the males already had their
testicles down, we are waiting for the other two males to
have theirs also. The puppies were complimented on their
happy and open temperaments and they had only little excess
skin.

Our great Brawley got yet another title. This will most likely be
his last because Brawley will soon retire and just keep an eye on
his offspring. We will go to a few shows because Brawley loves all
his fans and he loves to show. He is always ready for everything.
