Midian's
kennel is located in western Finland, in the countryside in the
middle of forests and fields. My family consists of my husband,
two daughters, a cat and a few dogs. I have been breeding
Cockerspaniels since 1993 and in 2000 I bred the first litter of
Great Japanese Dogs (now known as American Akitas) in
Finland.
My goal is to breed healthy dogs with good temperament and
beautiful appearance according to the breed type and which will be
a joy to be around and easy to work with. I will only use dogs
which have been x-rayed for hips, had their eyes examined and
possess a good temperament, health and appearance. I am a member
of the Finnish Kennel Club and the breed clubs for American Akitas,
Cockerspaniels and Beagles. The puppies grow up in a stimulated
environment and they are used to handling and children as they
live among our family. They are always registered and examined by
a veterinarian as well as wormed. I trim Spaniels and occasionally
