Brawley arrived in Finland in February 2005 from the Netherlands. Brawley had a strong structure, a good temperament and he really was a handsome old gentleman. He was extremely playful and lively. Brawley brought a new and valuable line to my breeding program. My warmest thank you to John Kruisweg. Brawley was handled by Jukka Lillstrang, kennel Soltar's.
 
Brawley was the brightest star I can ever have the privilege to own. Even though he stayed with us for a short period of time he was loved by the whole family. There is not a dog as great as Brawley was, his character was unbelievable.
 
Brawley showed us what an American Akita can really be like. I know I will never have a dog like him. He left a lasting impression to us. Everyone who knew Brawley remember his greatness. His magnificent offspring also remind us of him. Our children remember Brawley often. If there are stars in the sky they say: "Brawley shines there and watches over us.". These words still bring tears to my eyes, I hope the grief eases in time.
 
Brawley rests in our garden. There are flowers on his grave and our children have brought him a golden star and a silver horseshoe. I don't know what they mean by them but I'm sure it is something special.
 
I want to thank our and Brawley's friends for sending beautiful memorials in honour of the passing of Brawley. The greatest thank you goes to John Kruisweg. He made it possible for us to know and own the magnificent Brawley. Brawley lives in our memories forever!
